Recently we were contacted by a client asking us to create a printed silk tie and matching scarf with a very particular flag pattern on it. Since the ties are much narrower, we created the same pattern in different scale. The ties are made from a digital print while the scarves are made from a silk screen print on 100% silk twill. Quite often we get requests from schools to create a school necktie for the boys and a matching cross tie for the girls. Recently we were contacted by the School for Arts Infused Learning to create some black neckties, bow ties, and cross ties with their orange star logo. After the customer sent us the logo and color specs we started by creating some initial design suggestions for neckties, bow ties, and cross ties.

The customer preferred the striped design for necktie and bow tie, but liked the all-over logo pattern more for the cross ties. After confirming exact color specs we went into production and all ties arrived with the customer 40 days later. Neckties were made in standard adult size, bow ties were pre-tied and came with an adjustable neckband, and the cross ties are also adjustable to fit a wide range of ages. Custom School Ties and Cross Ties

Recently we were contacted by a church in the Virgin Islands to create a custom tie for fathers day. The client wanted a black background on the tie with the letters FWHC in turquoise. Below are some initial design suggestions we created for the client:

The client likes the all-over print design of #3 in the second row above the most. Once we confirmed the actual turquoise color, we started the production. The ties arrived just 4 weeks later at the customer in the Virgin Islands. Below is another photo of the tie.

 

One of our most popular custom tie designs clients often choose is a simple striped design with a single logo placement at the bottom. The stripe pattern and width is customizable, and so care the colors. One recent customer who chose this design for their club’s uniform was a rugby club in Arizona. They were looking for a royal blue and orange striped tie with the club’s crest embroidered at the bottom. Below are some initial design suggestions we created for the client:

The client chose design #1. Since these ties had to fit ages 5-10, we made the ties in shorter (14″ length) as a clip-on style. Below are some detailed photos of the actual tie made from a printed microfiber as well as the actual clip that is sown into the back of the tie.

Recently we were contacted to created sets of custom men’s ties and pocket squares with matching ladies scarves for a 33rd high school reunion. The customer wanted the school colors of kelly green and yellow along, the school’s logo, as well as the writing “33rd School Reunion” on all the ties, pocket squares, and scarves. Our designers first created the following necktie suggestions for the client:

After the client choose their favorite design (#3), we created suggestions of matching scarves and pocket squares. The client wanted the pattern of scarf and pocket square to be the same, the only difference was the size and scale. The pocket squares measured 12″ x 12″ while the ladies scarves were in size 27″ x 27″.

Once the client finalized their picks of ties and scarves, we submitted the job for production. 45 days later the ties arrived at the customer. Below are some more detailed photos of neckties, scarves, and pocket squares.

One of our most common custom request is from high school sports teams looking to create a tie in their high school colors with their mascot. Most popular is a classic striped design in the school’s colors with a single logo embroidered at the tip of the tie. One of such jobs we made was for a high school in Georgia. The customer was looking to create a forest green and gold striped tie with their Panther logo at the bottom. The customer actually liked design #4 from our custom tie design templates the most. Since the customer was set on design, we created the following spec sheet:
