3 Tips for Wearing a Tie Bar
1. Choose a tie bar in length to suit most of your neckties. If you wear both skinny, and regular length width ties then we suggest you choose a shorter tie bar (2 – 2.5 inches) for your skinny ties, and a longer tie bar (2.75 – 3.25”) for your regular width ties.
2. Choose a Tie Bar Color
Silver and gold are the most common tie bar colors. Pick a color that will match your wristwatch and your belt buckle and any other piece of metal found on your outfit. Silver tie bars are more popular and look best with darker suits and dark colored tie. Gold tie bars look excellent when worn with brown belt (and golden belt buckle), tan suits, brown shoes, and neckties in tan, red, burgundy, and navy.
