Coming Soon for Spring 2014: Pastel Colored Neckwear
We thought that we would have seen any imaginable tie design and color by now, yet each season our designers manage to surprise us with something new. One of such designs is the pastel collections shown above. While the pastel hues in lime, coral, peach, powder blue, and aqua are nothing new, it is the texture of the fabric that makes this collection stand out. Neckwear designer Puccini told us that the inspiration came from looking at retro cotton T-shirts. To mimic the T-shirt’s heather textured look, the designer incorporated white and several different silver yarns into the weave (see close up image below). Furthermore, the designer gave these ties a slightly narrower 3 inch cut – a width that appeals to a younger audience.
Update: This collection is now available for purchase: It is available in the colors shown above: Peach, coral, lime green , aqua, sea-blue, rose-petal pink, chartreuse, silver, and champagne; and it will retail for $10 each.
