Custom Silk Ties & Matching Scarves for DayNine
The customer wanted a high-end 100% silk tie and matching scarf for a special company event. As we do for all our custom requests, we presented several design options using their company’s colors and logo. After narrowing down their preference and making any requested edits, the customer chose the following digital necktie design (click on photo for larger image):
Because the customer wanted a thicker and more luxurious necktie, we created the design above from 100% Jacquard woven silk. 20 days later the ties arrived at our warehouse:
As for the scarves, the customer wanted a large, square-shaped scarf that was also to be made from delicate silk. After a couple design suggestions, the we created the following design to match the necktie above (click on photo for larger image):
Because the customer wanted a thin silk scarf that is comfortable to wear and has a beautiful drape, we created this scarf from a very thin silk twill. The pattern and colors were not woven, but instead created using a silk screen print process that was applied by hand. The final result exceeded all the customer’s expectations:
