What Makes the White Pocket Square Such a Powerful Accessory
For a good reason, the white pocket square is one of James Bond’s favorite accessories. Needless to say, it is an accessory that every man can benefit from. It is versatile, easy to pair, and suits any type of dress code and occasion. Styles & Fabrics
Most white pocket squares are made from fine silk, but other common fabrics are cotton and linen – two fabrics that give the accessory a somewhat more casual look compared to the more common shiny silk fabric. While the majority of white pocket squares are plain and pattern-less, there are some that feature intricate fabric weaves such as herringbone, pique, waffle-cone, and ribbs. Last but not least, pocket squares featuring a color contrasting boarder have becoming a big hit. They are excellent to add some color and contrast, while still keeping the look sleek and elegant.
Formal Combinations
The white pocket square has been accessorizing every single one of the seven James Bonds. Here Daniel Craig added this accessory to a black shawl collar tux and self-tied bow tie.
