5th Best Dressed Man in Film: Will Smith as Agent J in "MIB 3"

It’s no secret that Will Smith is one of the best-dressed actors in all of film. This has been the case ever since he made his debut on television, and hasn’t changed in the slightest as his career has progressed. While Smith hasn’t starred in a great deal of films recently, his appearance in Men in Black 3 has brought him back into the limelight, cementing him as not only one of the best actors in the industry, but one of the best-dressed as well. Smith’s character Agent J dresses in a way that is exceptionally sharp, and there are a lot of things that the modern man can take away from how the character approaches fashion. The following are just a few things about Will Smith’s character Agent J and how he chooses to dress, all of which can be emulated by fashion-forward men to result in an attractive ensemble. Contrast Above All Else
One of the major parts of the Men in Black look has a lot to do with the fact that the suits worn by the main characters typically feature a strong contrast. A black and white color scheme is the name of the game here, and is exactly what gives these characters their look. The contrast created by wearing black suits and ties with white dress shirts is certainly nothing new, but instead brings to mind a classic appearance that is difficult to top for those who are trying to dress in a way that connotes sophistication and mysterious elegance. This is exactly what the characters in this film are going for, which is why it works so well for them. Contrast can be overwhelming, but keeping it in balance can be extremely effective and is more than worth working towards.

Perfectly-Knotted Skinny Ties
Skinny ties are hit or miss, and are only effective some of the time. That said, a perfectly-knotted skinny tie can be exceptionally attractive when incorporated into the right outfit. The skinny ties worn by Agent J and his partner in Men in Black perfectly accentuate the outfits that they are a part of, and look fantastic underneath the stiff white-collared shirts that the characters wear. One of the main reasons why these ties work so perfectly for the characters is that they’re skinny, yet not to the point of looking ridiculous. Finding balance in a skinny tie is exceptionally important, and should never be overlooked.
