Get the Hair

Cobain’s hairstyle was all his own, characterized by blond highlights with dark roots, a part down the middle and a layered, “I haven’t showered in days” kind of look. This “mop-crop” style is only attainable if you grow your hair out rather long and go at least a few days in between each wash. If you have naturally dark hair, you might want to consider bleaching up past the roots in order to get the dual-tone appearance that was so typical of Cobain’s hair.
