When it comes to fabrics, gold is a tricky color. It often comes out too yellow or too brown and has little resemblance with the gold typical metallic sheen. Recently we were contacted by a Limousine services company on Long Island, NY to get custom logo ties made for all their drivers. They wanted a slightly slimmer black tie with metallic initials embroidered at the tip of the tie. Below are a couple design suggestions making use of different scales:
The customer choose the larger scale of design #4 that shows the logo in size 1.5″ x 0.5″. The customer also opted for the metallic yarn that gives the logo a gold-like sparkle. Below is the final tie that arrived at the customer within 30 days of placing the order.
