Over the years we have created hundreds of custom tie designs for high schools across the country. While some are part of a daily uniform, other schools are coming to us to create custom ties for their athletic program, as part of a fundraiser, or to promote a special event or performance.
When Litchfield Schools contacted us to create some custom ties they were looking to create a bright royal blue and white tie with a contemporary design. They also wanted their mascot and/or the embroidered letters “LHS” shown on the tie. Our designers created this first batch of design suggestions for the client:
The client liked the embroidered rodeo towards the tip of the tie, but wanted something even more modern while not too busy. Our designers simplified the design by changing the “LHS” to a simple serif-font “L” pattern, a modern striped design, as well as a large centered Rodeo at the tip of the tie:
The client loved the design and we went into production. 38 days later the ties arrived. Below are some more detailed photos of the finished neckties:
