Gold is always a tricky color when it comes to printed fabrics. While we do offer metallic gold yarns for woven neckties (check out this recent custom gold logo tie we did for a client), metallics are not an option when it comes to prints.
Then the International Cheer Union contacted us to get custom ties and scarves made in a golden color, finding the right printed gold tone was tricky. We created several print samples for our client in close to a dozen different gold shades – ranging from a more yellow gold to a tan “antique” gold. Eventually the client opted for a more tan shade. Using their logo, we created the following digital scarf design for them:
